Get To Luiza's House!

This is a submission for the Haunted PS1 Games Jam called 'Summer of Shivers' 2021.

The themes for the jam are: 

- Submechanophobia (fear of underwater/submerged objects)

and

- Public Service Announcement

This is a mini homage to Resident Evil 8/RE VILLage, made with the TIC-80 game engine.

Programming language: LUA.

As Resident Evil Village has a Public Service Announcement of "If there are any survivors, get to Luiza's house!" the PSA for this game was the same.

You are a villager  (not the main character of RE8, aka: 'Ethan Winters'), and your goal is to make your way to Luiza's house. There are different layers to the level,  you are encouraged to explore but technically do not have to, and can beat the game fairly easily if you take the safest above ground route.

The second theme about the water and submerged objects phobia, made Moreau from RE8 (the "fish man") a perfect part of the game to remake.  So you are a villager and it is the part of the game with Moreau, Moreau included!
